Pennsauken Sanitary Landfill

The Landfill is owned and operated by the Pollution Control Financing Authority of Camden County and is permitted as a solid waste disposal facility by the N.J. Department of Environmental Protection.

The landfill is open Monday through Friday, 7:00am until 4:00pm *

  • When unloading by hand, you must be weighed in before 3:30pm

* Holiday Exclusions are listed below, thank you.

*Holidays falling on a Saturday are observed on letrozole for men Friday; holidays falling on a Sunday are observed on Monday.

Covanta Camden Energy Recovery Center

The Covanta Camden Energy Recovery Center is owned and operated by Covanta Energy. The CCERC is permitted by the N.J. Dept. of Environmental Protection and uses mass burn technology to convert over 300,000 tons per year of solid waste into enough electricity to supply the needs of approximately 25,000 homes.   The land on which the Facility is located is owned by the PCFACC and is leased to the Facility operator.
